Amersham Round Table started a Donkey Derby in 1971 and this soon developed into an annual carnival in the centre of Amersham so 2010 will be the 40th and we raise about £5000 each year.

We've held a Santa collection for a few years more than that and currently raise about £6500 for charities and needy causes in and around Amersham. 

We have run a Community minibus for nearly 20 years used by groups and individuals who wouldn't normally have access to this vital resource. 

We've helped out at local concerts - putting up stages and marshalling parking

And of course we've collected on behalf of Children in Need at Amersham and Chalfont stations since the event started.

This may all sound like hard work but it is great fun and is a real test of your team working and leadership skills - a real example of how Round Table can help you in your life and your career.
